Social Support

Social Skills Group

The Adaptations Social Skills curriculum is designed to provide practical tools and know-how to help members communicate effectively and appropriately in a variety of social situations. Each session uses an array of methods including role play, discussion, and direct instruction to help members improve their interpersonal relationships in all aspects of life.

Individual Meetings

One of the cornerstones of the Adaptations Program is to provide individual meetings or coaching for members. These are provided on a needed basis and help members with a variety of issues ranging from finding resources to helping navigate the many challenges they face in their daily lives.

Chat 'n Chew

This is a place where members of the program can enjoy snacks and share casual conversations about friendship, family and work in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Lounge

The Lounge is a place for members to hang out, play games, nosh a little and enjoy spending time with the community.

Be aware of personal space of others—learn not to invade it.
